Since it is very hard to make a better thread i'll just quote the one were i bought it from.

I have worn it a few times, very warm jacket, amazing construction, goes well with everything. I just wish I was a bit shorter !

Sellin it for the price I bought it back in July

240€ in the eu - $340 worldwide

From Raf Simons' first collection for Jil Sander. 1 inside pocket, 4 outside pockets, 2 layers, heavy cotton, riri zippers, great volume/proportion, dropped shoulders. from raf's first collection for jil.

the outside material is a very thick cotton with an amazing feel. The inner lining is amazingly soft. Due to the cocoon-like construction, it's super warm. The collar can be worn up or down.

pictures are overexposed to show details. true color is a very dark black, slightly shiny. dont mind the white spots on the picture, those are from the camera, not the jacket.

shoulder 52cm-it's a dropped shoulder as seen on the runaway

pit to pit 56cm-the inner layer fit like a regular 48 but with room for a sweater

waist (ribbed waistband) 47

length 68

sleeve lenght measured from the interior. 49cm, but it fit longer because the pit is lower due to the two layers construction. Measured from the outside is 62-63cm but again it fit longer than that.

The measurements seems bigger than the actual fit, because of the construction in two layers. I'd say it should fit a true 48 with the runaway fit.

A better description of the piece:

"Even items such as the following jacket, which may look dull at a glance, are extremely impresive in person. If you look closely at the cuffs and the waistline, you can see some shadowing. This is because the jacket is actually two seperate layers. Again, the outer layer is designed to stand away from the body, giving it a very unique look. I don't know enough about such techniques to explain it, but it does hold this shape in motion and pops back into shape after being pressed down." quote from visconti TFS hope he doesn't mind.
