why do you blog?

i was spending time with my grandfather and he was reading the new york times. there was an article on some jewish guy who blogs, and i got the question:

"whats a blog"

i said:

"its like an online journal"

and he then said:

"whats the point"

and then that made me think, why do people, and many of you blog. putting up sites with original content is one thing, but posting a blog online about your life, what you did today, or some links you found on another site, why do you do it?

there's too many lame blogs out there

why do people really blog?

with questions like "what do you think about the streetwear blog scene today?"

Personally I don't. There are some people that make alot of money with it. People that want to make money. People that are bored and/or feel they have something they want to say. As for the others I can't imagine why they would.

i think the blogs that just post news from other blogs like hypebeast are fucking lame and make me angry. too many people with too much time on the internet..

dissemination of information.

blogs just organize information in a more user friendly way.

most people would find it tedious trolling message boards

print magazines are a little slow to put info out.

more or less, they seem to be a big interactive message board, where each person's blog

is one big thread... and we all are spiders spewing threads in the big web. hahah. i'm getting carried away.

there seem to be a lot of haters, but is it me, or do those people spend the most time

checkin what they are hatin on? i'm anti religion, so u don't see me in no church all the time.

Hey Syb, it's funny huh. Photos in catergories like "Bath", "Boobs" etc. She does some strange things with toy cars. Apparently she has been on there since 97'. I saw it on some lame talk show.
