I'm going to LA from jan 10-14.

a lot of people say that i should rent a car since

most stores are kinda spread apart

any suggestion on car rental service? Avis, hertz, and etc?

Yeah, you need to rent a car. I probably doesn't matter what company you rent it from. I'd look online to see who has a better deal going. If you want a car with some bling, there are at least a few rental companies that will rent you a porche, lamborghini, escalade, etc.
