all of the fires are 95-100% contained except for the Sylmar and Yorba Linda/Brea/Corona Fire

last year there was speculation some of the fires were set by firefighters looking to raise fire department employment.

honestly i suspect this year may be something of that same nature since the states been cutting funding left and right these days

I live in Sylmar and the fire got to across the street from my place... Luckily everything died down before my house caught on fire...

Right now theres still ash/smoke in the air but I cant see anymore flames... So thats a good thing...

But theres still road blocks and fire trucks around my block because I'm near an area that like 100 houses got burned down, so theyre searching for evidence of arson or something...
