OK Supershoppers - how much?!?!

Supershoppers – I have seen an amazing double breasted leather jacket by Hussein Chalayan. It’s beautifully cut and fits brilliantly – the leather is dark brown and a tough rather than butter-soft leather that has a slightly weathered, beaten-up look and is wrinkled to give it a sign of age in some places – so all very appealing. Despite the weathered appearance it really does fit like a glove and is a timeless design.

The only problem is that I find double breasted jackets (whether leather or not) don’t always look great when they’re not done up – what do you think?

I wish I could find a photo of the jacket as I would love to show it to you but I hope you have some idea of what I am talking about.

I’d like to know your thoughts on double breasted jackets undone and also how much you’d pay for a jacket like the one above which is well crafted from fine leather, fits well and has some rather nice details to it as well.

So, how much?

Hussein Chalayan is well pricey so I'd expect it to be £500+, I don't think I would personally pay over £300 for any item of clothing but technically it's probably worth a fair bit.

I think double breated stuff looks fine undone, but might not work on someone very skinny.

It sounds like you're pretty keen on the jacket though, how much is it?
