More posts the better for me as long as they're not the same outfit. Good to have a faster moving thread. Noah cap Sunray tee Le Laboureur jacket - I love this jacket but every time I take a pic I'm really disappointed. IRL it is actually quite loose and has a nice 70s open prison vibe to it but in pics it seems to be the least flattering thing I own I think it might be exactly the wrong length Dubbleware carpenters Red Wings

I got too fat for most of my jeans and sort of lost interest for a long time, still bought clothes but it didn't seem worth spending loads on jeans when I kept thinking I would lose weight at some point. Finally got round to it end of last year, mainly because I'd been running for quite a while and felt I would enjoy it so much more if I could just lose a bit of weight. Long way to go yet but it's been like suddenly getting a wardrobe worth thousands with all the stuff I can wear now

It's a really nice wash, got it off eBay but ended up chatting quite a lot with the seller. Apparently it had some sort of resin coating originally which was designed to make it fade quicker/in a nicer way. I've actually got the matching 47 501s, just waiting to get them hemmed as they're pretty long. Another pair that have been in storage that I can now fit into Absolutely love the jacket though, very few LVC denim jackets that fit big enough to be loose on me. Got a Valencia Street one too that fits quite a bit shorter.

Is that the 55 model? They look nice but there is something about the age of longing version that caught my imagination. I should probably wear the jeans I already have a bit more before buying anything else TBH but cheers for the info.

Not sure where to put this but thought it might help some people on here, I know it works in the UK but may work in US too. If you have a Library card you can download the PressReader app for free, when you sign in you can read magazines through the app. Clutch is probably the most appropriate for here but also has Lightning and 2nd and various others.

They look great, be good to see them worn.

    Loopwheeled/Vintage T-Shirts

Just seen this thread and wanted to second this. Blurb about them; "There is absolutely nothing basic about these awesome Sunray Sportswear (formerly Revolver) plain t-shirts. Made from a heavyweight jersey (260gsm) they will stand the test of time and the low yarn count offers a sumptuous and luxurious softness that you just don't find elsewhere. The Haleiwa style uses recycled cotton from cotton combing and when this is formed into yarn it helps to give these tees their trademark fluffy feel and unique uneveness. And believe it or not, they become even softer with wear! The style is produced on an antique loopwheel knitting machine in Japan (one of 2 left in the world!) and this allows for the tee to have no side seam, whilst the slow knitting process produces no stress on the yarn so it will almost never go out of shape. The fit is traditional and has been given a little extra in the length to its predecesor, to create a style that will never go out of fashion. There is also no external branding to name or date the piece. The angle of the sleeve and the neck ribbing offer a classic 50's look, back when a t-shirt was made well enough to stand alone and be the epitome of style." I have six of their tees now and absolutely love them. They keep their shape when washing, feel amazing and the design of them is pretty much exactly what I want from a tee. Cons of the brand: Quite pricey at £60 a tee (absolutely worth it though), limited choice of colours and in an ideal world they would make a size 48 so I could get looser fit ones too. They also make long sleeved versions and sweatshirts but I have yet to try these. Unfortunately the web site seems to be quite out of date for US stockists, plenty of UK ones though.
