i've been thinking of tapering my dukes for a very very long time now. just don't dare to do so. its the slight bootcut that's killing me. makes shoe choices a lil difficult.

Just over 180cm. Had to do a little math - normally I'd just say I'm 5 foot 11 inches. Ha!

Most of my height is in my torso though, I normally rock a 30 inseam, and had my Dukes hemmed to 32 to allow for a little stacking or cuffing.

yea they did seem bootcut-ish on me aswell. got tired cuz they kept dragging with certain shoes, so these went from 8.5" to 7.75". the tailor told me not to go any smaller than that since my shoes might not fit (he would've still done it, but thats just what he told me)

hey denim masters! what sizes have the smaller backpockets? and if I measure a 33.5 waist would a size 33x38 give me a slim fit?

I think it was size 30 and below that has the smaller pockets.

Slim fit or not..it's dependent on what model u're getting. Kings are the looser cut. Dukes and Shearer are slim. I personally would recommend any1 above 32 waist to go for Kings...but that's just me. One thing to keep in mind, make sure your thigh can fit in the jeans; waist will stretch out.

go true to size for the shearers as they will stretch and the calf is tapered quite a bit (that's my recommendation). they are quite roomy in the thigh though. possibly more than a same-sized pair of dukes...

you could size down one on the dukes for a slimmer fit, though they are slim straight (tube leg) in the first place.

ohhh, yea I am looking at the duke fit, not to be killed by u pros tho, but would they fit slimmer than a nudie average joe 32x34? ...i know nudies sucks lol, I am trying to move up to imperials!

Average Joes will fit slimmer, if your a size 33.5, I'd say go for the 32 in Dukes.
