Socks & Underwear?

Seems like a trivial component of the wardrobe, but what do you wear?

I'm sick of Old Navy boxers...what else is there?

What are good socks?

Socks: Black Hanes athletic, $8 for 6 pairs at Target. Comfy and long-lasting.

Undies: Boxers and boxer briefs. My favorite are "Prodige", a Canadian brand that's available in 3-packs for $18 at Costco. Another nice brand is 2(x)ist but it's kinda pricy.

i put absolutely no thought into it because even the absolute finest in boxer short technology will inevitably have at least one skid mark on it.

I can understand little kids having skid marks on their underwear or someone getting them if they have really bad diarrhea.....

footlocker's got the best super-short socks in black or white

for normal socks, goldtoe cotton fluffies cannot be beat

i always liked gap boxers as well...calvin klein for anything else...

you might talk big on the internet, but you know at least once in your adult life you've hidden a pair under a t-shirt before dropping it in the washing machine so noone in the laundry room knows your shame.

I think it may have happened once or twice when I had diarrhea, but I am pretty I would have thrown those out.

If wiping correctly is too difficult for you there is always Depends.

For underwear I wear briefs from the Gap if I'm wearing slimmer jeans...otherwise boxers from Muji. I got my socks at the Bay in Toronto, don't even know what brand they are....the cotton felt nice and not itchy so I stocked up on a few pairs of those, I only wear black socks. I've lost a lot along the way...need to buy new socks.

yeah, i picked up 3 pairs of those 3 dollar briefs, they suck though, they dont go far enough down the legs, they are pretty much tighty whities. i feel like a bitch wearing them

crisis got it right. gap had those 2 packs on sale for 4.99 last month online. i got 20 boxers for 50 bucks, reg price would have been $180.00.

Nike hi-top sports socks are the best in the terms of comfortability imo. Especially the new ones with improved sizing. Of course I wouldn't wear 'em with a suit.

For boxers I got some Calvin Klein, Burberry and also some h&m and other 5$/piece boxers. And I once decided to try if it was possible to create a pair of boxer shorts branded with my own clothing line type of thing. They were iron-on printed but there surprisingly was no damage on the prints after a hot wash. I might make some of them for sale as well then.

and yeah it's a dior homme tribute.

I like Smart Wool socks for athletic and casual wear. My old 2(x)ists and CK have lasted me eight years and are still in excellent condition. I have an unhealthy respect for durable underwear.

Damn, this is quite a bump.

Anyway, nowadays I'm wearing Stafford undershirts (tagless & taped seams!) and boxers.

Still haven't found any great socks, but I haven't really been looking.
