protein bars, almonds, cashews, milk, protein shakes

kunk. i need your tip on something.

so ive peaked at around 175. im getting stronger but i dont see much progress in getting bigger. im trying to bulk up with some lean muscle but not getting anywhere...heres my diet:

breakfast, bunch of eggs, wholewheat bread, milk, handfull of almonds.

snack: banana, handfull of almonds, gainer protein shake, more almonds

- handfull of almonds every 2 hours or so

lunch - 2 chicken breasts with shitload of leafy greens, broccoli, carrots

protein shake, more almonds...

similar to lunch for dinner...and a snack between lunch and dinner which consists of granola, yogurt, almonds, etc.

any tippers? ive actually cut down on lifting to give myself more time to restore my muscles...

I don't really do snacks..

but if I had to choose, I guess almonds, cashews, protein shakes, protein bars, bananas, blueberries, apples, and cherries

what do you mean by "gainer protein shake"?

is it that crap you buy in the stores with protein+shitload of sugars, which is terrible for you (except post workout)

what does a "bunch of eggs" mean? #?

to be honest, it doesn't look like you're eating enough to break 175

Mass gainer protein shakes usually have high carbs and high protein, but not a lot of sugar.

gainer protein shakes are loaded with tons of protein, carbs and protein. each serving can replace a meal plentifully. and its low sugar...thus tasting like shit.

and i said a bunch of eggs becuase it always varies dependinng on if i feel like shovling 6 eggs down my throat at 7 in the morning...or sticking to maybe 4 so i can actually eat it without wnating to die.

oh..

well in any case, I'd say bump your total meals up to 6 to 8 meals/day (every 2.5-3 hours).. food, content-wise seems to be o.k. but you need more volume, that's all

less training is a good start. looks like you're getting @175-190g of protein a day.

try 1.5 x your bodyweight, or @300g. sounds hard, but a few more eggs, some cottage cheese, and another chicken breast and you're there. also, you can try a cassein/whey blend shake right before bed so your muscles have food while you sleep. also, don't be afraid to up the carbs a bit-you need them when you're going hard and heavy.
