it's around 3.0-3.2. it's not that high, but my extra-cirriculars, personal statement, and portfolio will get me into some of those schools.

i just took SAT1 few weeks ago, and scored 1880, 730 on SAT2 math, and taking chinese this nov.

Useless to tell us your GPA without telling us what major you are applying for. I knew some people with a 3.9 that got rejected from Berkeley for Engineering/Biz, and others with a 3.2 getting into berkeley for math

If your GPA is like above a 3.2 and you have some extra activity UCSC will accept you.

I have a friend who had a 4.0 unweighted GPA and didn't get into Engineering at UCLA or Berkeley, iirc.

I think I had 3.97 or something and i didnt get into biomed engineering at ucla, cal or sd. but it was dumb of me to pick such a competitive major. i did however get into irvine w/ honors in that major.. but w/e :|
