highest bid is already WAY too high in my opinion... plus that jacket is super small. but if you're spending over 2 grand on a denim jacket, you probably aren't doing so to wear it...

Interesting, these are very similar 201 to the ones sold a few weeks ago, although the previous pair were in significantly better condition (they supposedly had gold in the watch pocket too). Those fetched $36,000 - but I think a deadbeat seller bought them.

Perhaps Levi's can buy these like they bought the "oldest" pair a few years ago for $46K, then stick them in their "vault" and forget about them. They should've spent that 46 grand on R&D to produce an authentic replica of their classic models. Instead LVC customers are stuck with high price cookie cutter DisneyLand repro's (LVC) that are no better than most garbage being sold at the corner mall. It's pathetic and upsetting that the king of jeans cannot and will not reproduce the classic line of jeans they invented. Instead, consumers either have to buy an original on ebay or get an authentic repro from one of Levi's competitors. Sad, very sad indeed!
