LVC 646 deadstock question.

as far as i know, 646s are NOT shrink-to-fit. they are preshrunk.

i'm sure they'll shrink a little bit with a wash (maybe 1%), but not to the extent that STFs would.

the warmer the water you soak them in, the more they should shrink, but don't expect too much

there are a ton of people on this board that are better schooled than i am, but i am still pretty positive that your jeans are not STF.

the denim used for the 600 series (646, 684, etc) is a different type than what is used for 501, 505, etc.

just because they are raw, doesn't mean they'll be shrink-to-fit...i'm pretty sure the denim in 646s is sanforized

they should be available in some of the stores that carry LVC here in the US...they've been part of the past few collections here...but availability is limited

i don't think they're available elsewhere in the world
