superscams?

hey guys, i wasn't really sure where to post this but i was wondering if any of you were aware of any possible scams that go on via ebay.

for example;

Recently i put up an auction on ebay for a psp, and literally within 24 hours i've gotten three messages asking if i would be willing to end the bid, send paypal request. and ship it internationally. the thing is they are offering like 500-600 dollars.

it just seems suspect to me.

i know probably isn't the right place to post this, but i didn't really know where else to ask, seeing as that i don't know anyone knowledgeable in this subject.
