awesome, i really loved speed racer when i was younger and hearing this good news is great. however, i dont know if i'd be able to persuade friends to go who have only seen the trailer. well i'll make sure to see it somehow, most likely not in theatres.

this movie was AWESOME! I loved it. super entertaining. and you should really watch it on the big screen. worth the $10.

Absolutely. The film is designed to be seen on the big screen replete with lots of cheering. Otherwise, you might as well as watch the latest BBC Jane Austen adaptation with your lame thrill-hating friends.

you're totally right, i regret missing a lot of films in theatres. it must be pretty fucking awesome then. i'll make sure to get in.

my friends tend to have odd tastes and ideas on movies. i question the movies they drag me into sometimes.

I really want to see if I can find this on an IMAX movie screen or whatever. Did that even end up happening or not? I heard rumours since it made so little money it might not ever make it onto them.

Or something?

speed racer is playing via IMAX at the meteron, SF..

Loved it. With colours & graphic like that IMAX is the only way to go.. Same reason why I paid money to see the remake of wonka & the chocolate factory
