Yesterday, while on my way to get wasted in my old hood at college and dovercourt, I noticed this sandwich sign outside, beside The Brass Taps - which said "get a haircut hippie" I had to go check that shit out. Honestly, the sickest barber shop ever, I can't even explain it, you gotta check it out for yourself. Finally a place where to cut my hair! No longer do I have to wait for my girlfriend to get hers done, so I can get an appointment at the same time at the W, which makes me feel less like a douche - so I can just pretend I'm keeping her company. I fucking hate the whole idea of going to a salon... This is the baddest ass barber shop ever - where you aint gonna end up with a bowl cut, and it aint gonna cost you over 20$. place was sick!

There's this one barber shop hidden away somewhere in Amsterdam that has a sign in the window that says "Hair cuts and teeth pulled"...

It also looks like nothing in there has been moved since the 40's.

Dude, that' absolutely wonderful - But I was more or less just recommending a cool joint to get your hair cut. But since you really felt the need to one up my post, I hope you now feel more clever. but don't feel too clever, it's easy to one me up - I'm a moron.

Sounds pretty dope. Is this like a old school type barber shop with a 70 year old dude giving you the cut, or is it a more modern type with younger people doing the cutting? So obviously if I have my hair more on the longer side or the hippier side as they might referred to it think they wouldn't butcher it. I never go to get my hair cut so if this place can actually do something nice I better check it out. Thanks for the info.

Looks old school - it's a tiny space with all the old school asthetics and awesomely done job, even got old pinups on wall any everything- only got 2 chairs - but it's modern cuts, modern people - fucking awesome concept, done by young dude, whos a cool motherfucker.

Just wondering if anyones seen it yet - I'm not sure how longs it's been open, he said not long.

I'm sure walk ins are fine - if not that would kinda ruin the whole barber shop purpose - but the joints got the potential of becoming ultra busy, so it's possible they might ask to just come back in 30 mins or so.

I live in this area, I just go to college barbers at ossington and get a 14 dollar buzz cut. Even does a straight razor on my neck/sideburns

this spot is across the street from my house. my borther got a cut there and said it was dope and the suse was cool. i went in but he didnt do straight shaves so i went back to the portugese cats by coffee time. ill give him a shot next time i need a cut.
