10 days in Japan

I'm gonna be in Japan for ten days from Christmas to New Years.

Any ideas on what to do/ where to do. I don\t want to spend the whole time in Tokyo.

*Where is the best place to get some Kobe Beef?

if you havent already think about getting a JR rail pass. esp if you are gonna be there for that long.....check out the western part of jp , osaka, kobe, kyoto.. i spent new years in nagano couple years ago..good times.

hey savage! i'm totally gonna be there too. i'm going from december 26th to the 6th. i'm gonna be staying in tokyo, kyoto then back to tokyo.

i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on a good hotel (based on experience.. or tips hopefully) because we're staying at a hostel for two parts of it.. tips appreciated thx dahlings!
