they only make very few items and limited size runs. try to find their shit online. very hard to find it.

their gear is very minimal and based on arctyrix. nomad in toronto will get it and i am checking the shit out.

The guy who designs that gear used to work with the military (SAS?) designing their stuff..

The reason it's in those shops is that that's the market they are going for .. the customer who is looking for limited/exclusive high-quality shit.

I don't think it's exactly designed for mountain climbing anyways, they don't make anything especially designed for warmth though it is very wind/water resistent. They definitely could make some great ECWS (extreme cold weather systems) gear.. but that's just not what they are going for.

In true alpinist style, it's comes down to weight. ACRONYM weighs too much in my opinion for use. A waterproof/windproof shell sans insulation shouldn't weigh over 10oz.
