Scarf question

So my girlfriend hinted that she wants a scarf for her birthday. Something maybe in the style of a keffiyeh/shemagh without being too stereotypical (i.e. looking like it was bought at Urban Outfitters). A more traditional scarf might work, too.

Anybody know who designs/where I might find a cool and interesting scarf for a lady?

i thought of vibskov, too, but those things are hard to get yr hands on. plus a piggy pattern gives a lady the wrong impression.

go to some lame ethnic shop and get her a wrap thingy... they usually come in a shitload of different types (different fabrics, mesh, sheer, thick, colourful, subdued, etc.) and are usually fairly affordable

or as winq said, get her faliero sarti... most amazing looking scarves
