I'm getting sick of lurking Y!J and eBay auctions to catch pieces that barely ever show up in my size. I'm mainly looking for interesting, technical outerwear at a reasonable price but if you've got something interesting, let me know.

Be it Hussein Chalayan, Vexed Generation, whatever... if it's small or big and baggy as long as it's technical-looking. W)Taps parasmocks, final home parkas, kim jones transparent windbreakers... I'm not quite sure how to describe the aesthetic but I think you get the picture.

Keep an eye on www.shotgun.tv, they carry Kim Jones Mainline & UBKJ direct and at discount (think their site is been re-lauched)...Also www.stoneisland.co.uk. you can pick up CP & S.I at good prices when they have a sale on, they've their new collections up now...Also the aesthetic your looking for, a lot of it was down to a guy called Massimo Osti, he led the way in deconstructing old military & civilian uniforms and re-designing them using technical fabrics, cuts, etc, he used to design for CP & S.I, if you ever see his own line on ebay, jump on it...

It's been an arduous quest with little result and little to inspire continued searching other than the occasional picture of a piece. At this point, unless I can come up with an even somewhat more direct connection than "waste hours searching yahoo! japan" this thread will probably be all that remains of said search.
