Hey guys - maybe you can help me out.

I'm thinking of opening a store in Atlanta. It would be a premium denim store with mens and womens streetwear. Labels like Nice Collective, Morphine Generation, Edoc, Mato, blah blah, blah.

Anyways.. Do you think people would buy this stuff there? I know it's popular in NYC and other places, but I just read a post that said it took a retailer, in Chicago, a year to sell a pair of APC jeans! what?!

Is premium denim as popular in ATL as in other places? What stores are COOL?! What places are COOL to shop?

I already know about Bill Hallman (makes me wanna puke), and Classic Soles, and Wish.

Currently I'm in Korea but originally I'm from NYC and wanted to open a store there, which i might, but have friends say that a store in ATL would do well. I know the NYC scene pretty well, but also know that ATL is 'upcoming' and could be a good place to start out. what do you guys think? what have you heard? I really respect your opintions.. so please let me know..

thanx.

PS. for you Atlantiens - what brands do wish you could buy?

If you are hearing that in korea, its probably because a lot of koreans are moving from other heavily korean populated areas down to ATL. I would be interested in some real denim, especially after checking out Blue Genes and being very disappointed. They pretty much just carry designer stuff.

A little off topic but I am korean and havent been to Korea in quite a while. JUst out of curiosity, how is the denim culture over there?
