what are some non-rpg roms that are fun to play with just a keyboard (or on a psp)?

if i had a gamepad for my psp i would be playing starfox 64 right now

What's a gamepad? Fighting games (got far in guilty gear with plenty of bloops and bleeps from my keyboard), E.V.O. Search for Eden, Castlevania anything else for SNES... metroid, megaman, etc etc.

i got to that stupid tank boss and he killed me

only because i decided to play the game like any normal person would and not read an faq

which means i didnt keep the crappy 1st gun all the way until the end which means i didnt get the super killer weapons

gameplay is pretty good but the "we'll fuck you over unless you read an faq" thing is so japanese and such awful design

Really? i think the fact there are multiple endings and certain characters can either live or die gives it a lot of replay value, considering it isn't very long. I thought the bosses were the best part of the game, some were really really complex and all of them were well done.

I never got the gun you're talking about either, there are a couple of "hidden" weapons.

when i was in high school i played a lot of cs, even nerded the fuck out and played in clans, scrims, matches, the whole 9.

haven't played in a long time though, i switched more into editing the frag highlight movies then stopped altogether.

haha i went main for soure... was going to start playing in LANs but then I began to lose interest. jeep did you go to CPL or something hah?

competed in CPL first round of source season 3, when source was but a wee babe that had so many glitches. needless to say we lost to some ridiculous german team. so yeah, i used to be super intense. now i ring for friends occasionally, but since my better comp died, i haven't played.
