Saucy storyline or ratings stunt? Three Gossip Girl characters will jump into bed together in an episode set to air in the States on November 9.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the threesome's participants will be three of the controversial teen drama's "major characters".

EW's TV insider Michael Ausiello wouldn't reveal exactly who's going to be part of the menage a trois, though he hinted that it might be Chuck (Ed Westwick), Blair (Leighton Meester) and Nate (Chace Crawford), or Serena (Blake Lively), Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair.

In Gossip Girl's third season, which is currently airing in the US, the characters have graduated from high school and now attend college in New York City. Recent episodes have been rife with attention-grabbers, including guest stars Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks, and a gay kiss between Chuck and a new male character.

The threesome scene is unlikely to please Gossip Girl's critics. The Parents Television Council once described the series as "mind-blowingly inappropriate", a slogan the show later used to promote its second season.

The "Scott's in Boston" thing was over the top... van with the word Boston on it drives by revealing a Boston Globe distributor on the other side of the street? And is Duff a recurring role?

Coming Soon to Gossip Girl: Lady Gaga!

Even Blair Waldorf might take the subway if her reward on the other end was a Lady Gaga concert. The singer is filming an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl today on the Lower East Side, in which she'll perform as herself!

We imagine she'll be debuting some original Gossip Girl music on the show, which is pretty cool for Gossip Girl, whether you're a fan of Lady Gaga or not.

The New York Daily News reported the NYC native's guest role today. Are you excited for more star power coming to the Upper ... er, Lower East Side?

i will agree that season 3 of OC was shit and this i season 3 of gg and so far its not as good as the first 2 but i dont hate this show.

who saw deroda wearing something other than a maids uniform in last night episode. holler
