Run on batteries: Ghettoblasters

I'm sick and tired of having to get a good beatboxer for every freestyle session me and my friends do, so I wonder if you guys have any experience with ghettoblasters that might be able to run off a iPod or simply just hold CD*s and play really well. Of course, no power source available.
