Help me find the cut thats right for me

Greetings all,

I am having trouble finding denim that I really like and thus I am looking for guidance.

Basically, I like a low-rise, more boot-cut jean but I can also do a straight leg on occasion. My favorie pair that I have owned were Diesel Ravix that had a pretty wide boot flare, and I wore those out in about two years. Ravix are discontinued now, so I have found my way to Levi's skinners, which I quite like although these are hard to track down in my size. I bought some Ernest Sewn a couple months back but my favor for them has declined...in fact I really don't like the way they look anymore.

anyways, I'm just looking for some help in finding some styles that have similar looks to what I mentioned. I have seen some Blue Bloods and I think they look great, now I just need to find them. Also, I have heard that 501's might be good for me but I find the whole thing confusing...there are really cheap ones, like $35 and then there are some that go for $100...what exactly is the difference there ? What kind of fit do 501's have ? Most of the pics I have seen they look kind of frumpy, like suburban dad jeans or something.

I kind of burnt out on Diesel, but if they have a cut that is similar to the old Ravix that I loved, then I'd consider them. Surely there are others out there though.

I used to rock Diesel Ravix and I had the same issue when they discontinued the cut...When I was looking for replacements, I found that the Paper Denim & Cloth LTD low 5 bootcut had a pretty good fit...that was about 2 years ago though so I don't know if that style has since changed but you might want to give it a try..Also, Chip & Pepper make some flared jeans too, so you can check them...check out www.resolveclothing.com for pictures....

As for 501's, their fit isn't anything close to the Ravix...more of a straighter fit, and no flare.
