what is there to do in shenzhen?

i know of Lo Wu and thats about it.

i keep hearing that its a really good place to shop, but where would i go?

any recommended eateries? shops? hotels? spas? anything

almost the same stuff HK has but a little cheaper. Lo Wu is basically all fake stuff. If you're looking for non name brand clothes take the stop at LAO JIE and basically just explore. Look for the shopping "arcades" and there are a ton of choices.

Ive heard about goign to the factories for the overruns...
