I just finished downloading Shivers.

American Ninja 2 and 3 were B-movie status...

As were almost every US made ninja movie.

Story of Ricky (the live action was VERY B-Movie'ish...one of those "cop the bootleg for laughs" joints)

But I got a treat NONE of you are ready for...(there's a whole story behind finding this shit):

Razor Sharpe

I can't believe I'm even letting that out the bag...that shit has been my little secret for a few years now...not even YouTube is on this shit yet. Copped the DVD for $2 ...NEW...off of Amazon after having rented it at a local Blockbuster (yea someone was trying to be funny by placing this in Blockbuster...luckily we were looking for this type of movie that night...although we didn't expect THIS great of that type of movie).

Shot on a shitty digital-8 camera, no white balancing at all (the white walls are usually yellow or blindingly white), the sickest editing ever (one angle dude got a v-neck on, next angle...tank top)...oh yea he wears the illest muscle shirts ever, street fighter 2 sound efx for some of the punching, huge guns with no kickback or muzzle flash, plus the craziest martial arts display in life (he catches an arrow that isn't remotely close to hitting him...snaps it on his knee, then throws the pieces into the face of his arrow shooting adversary as a pre-curser to a "put my leg over the back of your neck" neckbreaker).

...yea the Blockbuster vhs copy said "for promotional use only" and was about 15 minutes deep into the movie (meaning it wasn't rewound...the person who was lucky enough to rent this before me probably realized it was the worst movie ever and was so burnt, he/she popped it out of the VCR and ran back to Blockbuster to demand a refund).

...oh yea, speaking of the whole AMerican Ninja and Razor Sharpe phenom...we actually referred to this (after having flipped to the back of the box) as the "Dominican Ninja"...good shit.
