Soaked and worn once. Unfortunately didn't quite fit me.

Bought directly from Toshiko at Samurai ... received Friday; soaked Saturday; decided that I needed to size down on Sunday ...

Samurai's slim straight Lee-repo fit. Nice touch with the electric blue selvedge.

These are available from BiG for $285 (not including any shipping). I am looking for $235 shipped worldwide.

Haven't met my asking price on these yet so following some advice I'll try another soak on these.

Just wanted to say that this is the second pair of s0110xj's in the supermarket this week because people felt they should've sized down.

They will still shrink alot with more soaks.

Shit...if that Chambray shirt was a 36, I'd be all over that !...how much did it shrink by after the soak? Not a lot at all huh?

Cotton ... it's not the waist thats really the problem for me (at the moment anyway; I guess it'd stretch out anyway) ... the seat and thighs are just too big on me unfortunately. Could you see them shrinking the best part of an inch more? Was just reading about your s0110xj ... hate to be nosey but could i ask did you go with your true waist? Yours looked great in that thread and i really would like to keep these ...

Beatle ... Laid flat the waist is 40cm ... you actually advised me to go for the 31 but seeing the info on the samurai sizing chart i thought the waist on them would be just too tight. Maybe I shoulda listened ... first sams you see.

Aziz ... wish I'd went for the 36 ... the shirts just so nice but not the right fit on me in the 38.

is the shirt denim or chambray please clarify. thanks. BTW I also have the Samurai Gin. I tried one on that hass already shrunk and the thigh area does shrink a fair bit. around an inch. they will shrink true to waist size. tks

I assume they have not been hemmed (did not see mention anywhere)? They come as a 34 inseam?

I would assume they are a 35 inseam after the soak ...Samurai only sells 36 raw..

Flat Head ... is chambray but is sold pending payment.

The Samurai's have only been soaked and have not been hemmed. Think they have shrunk to around 35" in length. I'll measure them when i get home later today.

Beatle ... did you get your S0110XJ's (I assume they are yours ... they're so nice) in your actual waist size or go down one? Really reconsidering selling these; no offers as of yet anywho.

I ended up going for my true waist, but I intended to go one down. Still think I could've done that but am very happy with the fit right now.

The pics in that thread are after one soak, after that I hot soaked them one more time and also spotsoaked the hips and seat with very hot water. Like I said I'm now very happy with the fit.
