Hmm, I wasn't sure about it after the first few pics, thus I didn't even post here... but after seeing the new ones, I have to say it's pretty damn good.

And I don't think those are really bondage pants, at least not in the evisu bondage way. Or did you mean the fact that you can lace-up the pants?

i love this look:

and i actually like the bondage pants alot. wish i could pull off an outfit of yohji head to toe. it looks great on the models, but i think it'd just make me look like im trying to make myself look fat.

anyways, i like how pretty much everything is oversized, yet it doesnt look... sloppy (for lack of a better word).

i like the styling in this collection quite a bit but because the fit is so loose it seems that most looks can be easily re-created from thrift finds and military surplus stores, therefore it is highly unlikely I would buy any piece from the actual line. this is just my opinion.

while i'm not exactly jumping out of my seat, there's a few things in here i'd buy...mostly the black/white looks. Can't stand the sheer stuff, some of the pants with the droopy crotch silhouette just look weird, and of course some purposely tacky t-shirts which Yohji's always been fond of, but i just can't see who in their right mind would wear them. Otherwise, looks such as these are a winner:

jackets and pants are great, love the off-looking proportion white shirts with the untucked, billowy/sloppy look. I totally would (and probably will) buy that shit and post in waywt just to get a rise out of my fan club. lol...just kidding, but regardless there's always something in each YY collection that i can connect with.

Also with Yohji it's not a good indicator to go just by the runway show, if you look at his store in Japan and the department stores that carry his stuff, the collections are usually so big that the runway is only a part of it. It might indicate the direction, but by no means is this the meat of it...if you want wearable, there's tons of items in each season that fits the bill.

just saw the whole collection and while there's some styling details i could've done without, i think as a cohesive runway show it is quite brilliant. Looking at it in its entirety i appreciated some of the looks more (e.g. jackets w/ badges on them...wouldn't wear it, but presented here i think it's quite nice). once again i can't overstate how perfect the trouser cuts are, especially when mixed with the loose jackets. Also just when i thought Yohji couldn't do any more with the shirt jacket he went ahead and proved me wrong!

fav look from the s/s08 collection

the whole feel of no adjustments (throw it on and youre done) to the clothes is really tight. white suits are always great, diggin the cuffed leg and the high tongue on the boots. the sheer unfinished button-up is really nice and just adds to the theme.
