apc sizing?

hello all,

i'm new to sufu and already looking for advice.

recently i've grown out of my pair of 28x32 slim jim nudie jeans, and decided to move on to apc. it isn't the waist i've outgrown as much as it was the legs (possibly too much soccer practice). anyway, i'm now looking to purchase a pair of new standards and wondering what size waist i should be looking into purchasing. i've asked on several other forums and the general consensus seems to be that one size smaller is a looser fit, two sizes is slimmer, and 3 is the "sufu" fit. i'm wanting the jeans to fit the way they do in this picture:

having worn a 28 waist in nudies...what size should i purchase these new standards so that they fit in the way they do in that picture?

You're spending this much money on jeans and you haven't finished growing yet? If you're not confused about what size your waist is then you should see it says two sizes down. Get a longer length. OR since you seem to be young enough to still have growth spurts, you could spend that money on something cool like fireworks to blow off your hands. And don't make a new thread about this next time.
