slouchy militarish boot?

Those honestly look more like a tanker boot.

Not slouchy I might add. The tongue is actually sewn up the boot in the ones pictured.

Edit: Crown Surplus in Inglewood has these. I suppose you could cut the leather on the sides on the tongue to detach it then beat the hell out of them to soften up the leather. I had thoughts of doing this.

hmmm im afraid that they will look super gothesque. i really should just wait until i get back from australia next summer. i'm pretty much going to miss this whole winter!

Yeah they need to see some rough conditions. Calgary winters, salty streets and maybe a couple camping trips.
