I only know of LMF via the Staple shirts a while back. Are these guys still active, and are they a music outfit, or what? Somehow i remember them being japanese hiphop, something i know very little about (except what I learned from Buhloone Mindstate).

they're still around, not sure if active or not. dj tommy, from HK, founded LMF. i also see him sell a gang of his personal LMF stuff on ebay lately.

The DJ Tommy Staple tape (Prescription #3 I think?) was off the hinges, I didn't know he was from HK. Thank you...

yah, it's DJ Tommy. i haven't heard the joint you're talking about though. he's an alright DJ but he had a weak set for the 97 DMC. i applaud him for his effort since he seems to be the only head from HK doing the "turntablist" thing. but yah, compared to worldwide he's no match for a q-bert, craze, or lil jas.

a-trak's great but did he learn to beat juggle yet? last time i heard about him was when he became an honorary ISP member. i'm out of the battle scene.

...and 5X DMC champ...that's not bad...& wasn't he like 17 when he won the first one...??

LMF is from Hong Kong.

They have disbanded last year or two years ago. Can't remember.

They are around 10 people or so anyway. Crews keep rotating from shows to shows because they just like come and perform and go whenever they like and you don't even know they are inside for one or two shows or for long.

respect to a-trak but DMC is marred with politics about which country should win or make it to the finalists round. all turntablists know ITF is where it's at.
