Blueblood dry goods (selvedge)

Saw these at Atrium the other day, and they looked pretty fresh. They didn't have a price tag on them so I'm assuming they are exclusively for those with deep pockets.

Anyone here own a pair? and what's the deal with Blue blood in general? Quality?

I just copped a pair of Nudie RR's, and am wondering if the Blue Blood Dry goods have a similar fit.

This is easy going but it isn't that easy to find on Google. They tell everything you need.

I own a pair of BlueBloods and I own an Avelon shirt, the Avelons are pretty serious, they run you 450$ a piece but the quality is just extravaganza. BlueBlood is fair enough, 200-300$ for a pair of selvage jeans, I would go with the Avelon models, they aren't that expensive.

probably the best jeans i've ever worn...

and i've tried them all...

I have 3 pairs now...

last seasons winter...they really thick jean, but not as heavy as you'd think...incredibly comfortable though...they cost me £180

I have this years winter...well, got them around novemeber, they were only £130...great buy since i've worn them nearly every day and they still look new...

and i have the dry ressin ones...they are lovely looking...not as comfortale as the others...but they still fit real nice...they were £180...look lovely though...

in terms of dry selvedge, the only better you will get is 45rpm...possibly ossa mondo or kiminori morishita..

Time spent wishing...is time wasted

why are those osso monde jeans so rediculously expensive? one pair is 94.500, that's like a thousand dollars!

as far as i know, avelon only has 50 sale points worldwide... not even one in holland, were it's from. pretty exclusive stuff... i've seen some avelon clothing though... tried a suit on, extremely good cut. they are using a nice heavy denim for their jeans, dry and washed

if you could jeremy...most grateful.

Although it would be cool to view some pics of the jeans if there are any available online.

I had a search but could only find that red monkey design...

Red monkey is technically a Chinese brand (Based in Hong Kong). While they do use denim from japanese mills, most of the fabric is actually produced in China. Many of the worlds great denim mills have opperations in China these days. It's definately not a japanese brand, but the jeans are cool

Errrmmm It either says it inside somewhere on a tag or on the tag I took off. I can check tonight for you.

Just checked on their site and if you can make out the text on the pages about the dry goods it says all items will shrink 5%. http://www.bluebloodbrand.com/

I've not washed mine yet. Only worn them twice. Mine are a 34/34 and the bag of the legs will just drag on the floor. The waist is slightly up on size but great with a canvas belt. I think with a wash they will be about perfect.

Guy h,

yeah have looked on the site (love the easy nav of it) but yes hard to read. i wll check the inside and the tags. i agree with a canvas belt they are great, but am worried about them looking too 'urban' in fit ala rocawear or fubu...so wouldn't mind a little shrinkage on the waist.

thanks again.

I grabbed my Blue Bloods last season. They were a dry denim with a resin coating on them. I found them to be an uncomfortable worker pant, compared to prps or rogan because I bought them too small. I traded them for a pair for 1947 deadstock 501's...

Well worth it!

I was really impressed with the product, although I fealt that the cuts were a little too generous and tended to be oversized compared to other pants in the same market...
