antique stores tend to have old type high art as a decoration type thing, but its usually pretty expensive. most images would get melted down and recast.

a lot of schools have been buying up old type though and realizing how valuable a letterpress class is in teaching typography. you'd be surprised how many people don't know its called leading because you'd stick point thick leads between lines. its an amazing hands on way to stick it in yr skull how type works and why you do certain things in working with grids, etc.
