This is hilarious. Of course Im going to wait until the money clears with my bank. This is standard operating procedure.

Have you ever recieved items from the US. Your postal service sucks. It takes 10 days just to ship items from Seattle to Vancouver. You are in Toronto supposedly.

You're a goddamn idiot if you think Im going to send you items right away. If you wanted me to have sent the Items right away you should let me know instead of not telling me until the 3rd e-mail. This was after you had already sent the money.

I still would have told you to fuck off.

So basically what im telling you now is to fuck off. Have fun with your dispute for $4 dollars which you will lose.

Course of events:

you: i need personal information from you

me: no

you: *sent the money anyway*

you: i need this by the 15th

me: no

you: gaurantee it will be there by the 15th

me: no, this is bullshit take your money back - minus paypal fees

you: paypal dispute!

You're an idiot. Not only do you not get anything, but you lost your $4 dollars due to paypal fees. I guess thats the cost of being an idiot?

The scam you are attempting to pull is one thats done all the time.

Hey guy heres money for the item ive included extra money to hurry up the shipment.

Oh hey this guy is legit might as well send them out right away.

Item is shipped and you claim that you didnt authorize the payment and its taken right from my paypal account because IT DIDNT CLEAR INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT YET.

Scamming is a serious issue, and so is being an idiot with a ridiculous plan. Is he a scammer or just a dick? You be the judge.

E-mail 1:

yes, for $85 shipped I can express them to Canada.

Email 2:

Sounds reasonable.

Just provide a Paypal e-mail to pay. Please ensure the item is shipped

quick, otherwise I will not be able to receive it.

Also, could you reply with your full name and a number I can contact

you? This is not to harass you, just some consumer protection on my

behalf.

- Josh

Email 3:

No offense but I'm not giving you my number. I'm a verified paypal seller with a huge marketplace history on SuFu. If thats not enough then I apologize.

Now at this point im weary and I wasnt going to send him anything - I was chatting with 4 other members of this forum regarding this, which are timestamped and I can provide as proof that I wasnt going to go through with this because I smelled scam from the get go.

However here is e-mail 4:

The money should be confirmed received, no clearance necessary as the

funds were from my balance.

I asked for your number based not on the fact that I didn't trust your

reputation on SF, but that I have 0 recourse on that particular

website.

Notice that I didnt give him my paypal information? So I guess he just guessed and assumed it would have been my current e-mail address.

He already sent the money, so I figured Id just wait until the money cleared with my bank - However, I was still rubbed funny by this so rather than start the process I let him know that Im going to wait until it clears.

Here is my response Email #5:

I'll have these sent out as soon as the money clears.

This is standard. Yes the money is with paypal, however it isnt MY MONEY until its in MY BANK.

Email 6:

The money should be confirmed received, no clearance necessary as the

funds were from my balance.

I asked for your number based not on the fact that I didn't trust your

reputation on SF, but that I have 0 recourse on that particular

website.

Yeah whatever. This is how its done on every forum and even ebay. Notice that in 3 e-mails from him he hasnt once mentioned that he needs these by a certain date?

Email 7:

I understand. What I'm saying is as soon as the money hits my bank account. I will send them out.

Email 8:

I assumed the item would be shipped more or less tomorrow and would

arrive early next week. Since the transfer will require 4 business

days, the item wouldn't ship until Monday earliest and would require

probably 3-5 days for delivery. I'll be on vacation by then and won't

be around to receive the item. If you can guarantee delivery before

the 14th, it shouldn't be an issue, but unless you're couriering the

item, it doesn't seem possible. I'm going to see if I can reverse the

payment.

You should have told me this in your initial e-mail. Or hell, even in your first 3. I would have declined your offer and moved on.

Email 9:

It probably wont be shipped until Thursday or Friday. If this is an issue I can send the money back? This is starting to become more of a hassle than its worth.

Email 10:

Please send the money back. Sorry this couldn't work out smoother.

I sent the money back, minus the paypal fees which I surely am not going to pay. This is a mistake thats completely your fault. I am not a decietful seller - Infact I have a history to prove that. You have...a ridiculous plan that wouldnt have worked under the best of circumstances.

1. You sent the money without my OK.

2. You demanded they be sent by a certain date which was never discussed until well after you sent the money.

3. You're a dumbass

You: "Notice that in 3 e-mails from him he hasnt once mentioned that he needs these by a certain date?"

Read my first e-mail: "Please ensure the item is shipped quick, otherwise I will not be able to receive it."

If the item was shipped express it would have arrived at the latest June 12. While I now realize you have never dealt shipping express, it is quite different than surface mail or media mail. It is faster in case the 'express' part was ambiguous. I assumed you would opt for the 3-5 day shipping and misappropriate the hefty surcharge. I didn't expect you to fully thieve the shipping money.

Since when is the bank the authority that cash is received?

  • If I put cash in your hand, then I have not yet fully paid, because the cash isn't in the bank?
  • Then, if someone pays me a COD, I must wait to go to the teller before I deliver the goods?
  • And, if someone trades me something, I wait to liquidate the goods and transfer the cash to my bank before the deal is deemed 'ok'?
    According to you, yes.

PAY ATTENTION TO KTOTHE'S FRAUDULENT SHIPPING TACTICS AND HIS ATTEMPT AT DISCREDITING ME WITH CHILDISH NAME CALLING. THINK AGAIN BEFORE DEALING WITH HIM.

Lets see:

I said no to your request and you sent the money anyway. Without telling me WHAT DATE you needed it by. Therefore your mistery date was never discussed. Again, had you told me you needed it by the 14th I would have flatout said no. I didnt even give you my paypal address.

The bank is an authority because the money isn't 'in my hands' until its in my bank. This isn't cash transferred in person from a buyer to a seller. Hell its not even cash.

I send all items to Canada, and all items period through express. You are forgetting im the experienced seller with a history to back up my claims. You didnt have any post until you came into my thread. Hrmmm...

You argument is tired and flawed. You lose. Please kill yourself.

EDIT: oddly enough your rep bar keeps going further into the grey with every post. It would seem people agree with me and you really shouldnt post anymore. Ever.
