interesting thought: if yao is healthy next season (assuming that he is a rocket next year), kevin martin, like t-mac, has a pretty legitimate chance of getting votes to be a starter for the all star game next year.

is this a joke?

STARTER?

He won't even make the team. The West is stacked with guards that are better than him.

Unless the Rockets put up an amazing first half start.. re think your interesting thought.

im not talking about his stats, im talking about a country called China.

his stats arent bad, though.

edit: i forgot to mention that i am completely aware that the west is packed with studs, and martin doesnt deserve to be a starter.

Sloan news is crazy.

Mavs are back on that war path in a big way. If we manage get Caron back before the end of the season, shit's going to be real.

Also, how are the Spurs so good?

Also, I still want Melo to go to the Knicks even though that doesn't look so likely anymore.

Also, seriously, who let Peja on my team?

Best coach in the league, best GM in the league and probably the best bench in the league.

Gregg Popovich is unreal. He demands such a ridiculous level of effort from his team. I went to the Spurs/Raps game and he'd call time outs just for missing defensive rebounds. He demands such a high level of accountability. Plus he's one of the best at drawing up plays, and their new system shows he's more flexible than just walking the ball up every time.

Then you've got their roster. Tony Parker and Manu are both top at their position. Not the best, but all-star calibre. Tim Duncan's not what he used to be but he's still Tim Duncan. He's managed to concede more than ever but he's still reliable in the post, one of the most intimidating lane-defenders in the game and an unreal passer. Does everything well at this stage. Blair is a tank, Jefferson is finally fitting in, Bonner is a sniper and Tiago Splitter might be their fourth best player and he's not even integrated yet. He was awesome last night.

Pops is the best coach period. Also their team is a disciplined family they go out to dinner together, go back to their hotels before 11 to watch game tape. None of this Amare and Felton going clubbing with Lebron and Wade at 1Oak till dawn and getting blown out by the Heat nonsense.
