Almost blown, frayed knees

So I went out skating, and I fell onto my knees. My right knee is freyed. How should I go about fixing it before it becomes a hole? Pics included. They're Prps Non-selvage one wash @ 8 months.

dont do anything to it, a scuff that small will take a good while to turn into a full on hole, and even then, it wont do much, i have a hole in the same place that hasnt gotten any bigger since i got it, its character, dont "fix" character

my 2 cents is patch it -- just with some of that iron on adhesive denim on the inside. it will reinforce the fabric and your jeans will last you a little longer before you actually need to use a needle and thread to patch it i.e. a real patch.

the iron on stuff can be peeled off very easily once you want to put a real patch there.
