so a few years ago we i was out celebrating with my friends, dont remember what, and there was a guy on the street playing his trumpet with his hat out. my friend david, who is a phenomenal trumpet player, asked to see the guys horn. he proceeds to wipe it down and blow everyone away, then we told him to quit cause he was fucking with someones income.

i take my acoustic down in front of the starbucks sometimes and play for people passing. never get any money, and the starbucks people chase me away. but then again, im in bumblefuck, nowhere.

funnily enough, around here if you take a string quartet out it's much better takings than a single acoustic guitar and a voice.

saw a dude bust out crazy train in the T station in boston a handful of years back. he had that band in a box boss drum machine that did backing for him. it was pretty amazing

There's this crazy guy in Brighton who sits around drumming on a set of bins and stuff outside the shopping centre. Sometime he raps too, and ropes other people into joining his motley crew of percussionists.
