Levi's LVC 1933 2004 vs 2006

my 1st post on here so please be gentle..anyway i recently bought from ebay (my 1st pair) of 1933 2004 (R stamped) and these fit just superb and thought well yes i love these so i'll buy some deadstock from 06 collection ,anyway the fit is looser on these (after washing) than the 2004 i have allready and they look just too silly as i'm slim at a 29 waist.The 04 cut is spot on but the 06 one's i bought just look plain silly.

anyway is the above true and has anybody had experiance with 33s also can i buy DS 04 33 from anywhere.

I have a pair of early 555 33s and had a pair from 04. Both were the samed tag size and the ones from 04 were slimmer that the early 555 ones also.

Great and thanks for your help so i'm not imagining it at all and i love the 04 cut very much and thought i would buy the DS 06 pair but they just look plain silly so i ebayed em.

Also any ideas where i could get 04 DS 33s or maybe it;s a needle in a haystack type thing.
