Fine. The bottom line is: This forum is about sharing information. So, one gets mixed up with protocol -- I would think there'll be at least some level of tolerance. Yes, I don't have 1000 posts. I'm not trying to buck the system, all I was trying to do is share an idea. With this level of perceived hostility, how does one share information? I've seen posts slaming folks (who all they wanna do is share info or get basic info) -- This attitude seems to put a chilling effect on ideas/suggestions on "we the people" (Human beings) -- might deem important (you may not agree) but at least be accomodating. I would rather browse the posts and not contribute -- it's easy. But when someone takes the time to ask a question and/or give suggestions, I think as a member of a community, one ought to show some respect, tolerance to that person. It's easy to slam someone behind the keyboard. If what I espouse offends anyone, I appologize. I just believe we should lighten up up an not be so gung-ho. Then again, I have no idea which demographic I'm speaking to.

Yeah man I wasn't trying to be a dick and joey's wording wasn't harsh or anything - no need to get crazy on us - your post would just be more appropriate in a different place is all.

Granted the old shoe thread isn't denim related but but that is only one thread. No need to follow suit.

let me have a think about this...it's hard to keep a denim board solely denim related. and shopper is more geared towards the "fresh, new and current", IMO. need to decide what to do with threads like this and where to draw the line.

might even put the thread back in here.
