Rod, I would try the Superdenim forum, but first, I would do a search.......you will find an INSANE amount of data on tight jeans.

Slim jeans with a small leg opening off of the top of my head include Cheap Mondays, Levis 511, Nudie Slim Jim/Thinn Finn, Julian Red (Various models), Acne Max, and many more.

and so can you with a sewing machine and some straight pins. put them on inside out, pin them how you would like them to fit, and then just sew along the pins. if the jeans are not selvage, you will want to do this from the outseam and cut off the excess. if they are selvage you have 3 options: 1, sew the outseam and leave the selvage. this will cause the selvage at the hem to be fairly wide, which could look funny if you cuff, but will lead to crazy traintracks down the line. 2, sew the outseam and cut off the selvage. overlock stitch, or cut with pinking shears to avoid major fraying. 3, taper them from the inseam. this can be tricky, since most jeans have the inseam sewn flat with a single line of stitching. you can take out the outseam stitching, sew the inseam and then sew it down, and resew the outseam, and have the most professonal looking job. if the inseam is felled, this will not work.

ok thanks, i been looking at those black thin finns. well so if i want tight leg opening you cant make this adjustment yourself. because i like the jeans i have aswell.

It depends on the shape of the leg to start with. If they are baggy bootcuts, it is not going to look good, as in order for them to fit right, they would have to reset the seat, etc.

If they are slim jeans already, and you want to take a couple inches off of the leg opening, sure a tailor can do that. They will cut them up to the knee, and then restitch in a tapered fashion.

you would have to go to your closest purveyor of cheap monday jeans

that would require knowing where you are

knowing where said purveyor is

traveling from where you are to the location of the purveyor of the jeans in question

you could help us help you by telling us where you are

i wear a 30 in everything, and 30 in cheapmondays were too tight in the waist.

Cheap monday tight jeans run about an inch and a half smaller in the waist than tagged size. If you size down 2 on the apc new cure, they'll certainly be tight. April 77 has some really tight legging type jeans like the cheap monday tight if that's what you're looking for.
