a question for some one who knows alot about louis vuitton

ok so i bought a louis vuitton backpack from the wheschester mall in ny and i was kinda concered about this.the backpack was the Monogram Canvas Sac à Dos Bosphore but when i looked at the tags on the inside of the bag the serial code was fl1026 but the tag on the card on the inside of the bag says M40107.i just want to know if the bag is authentic even though i bought it from a louis vuitton boutique thanks again.

the fl1026 is the date stamp. the fl indicates that your bag was made in one of louis vuitton's french manufacturing plants (if it was made in the us, it would say fh instead).

the m40107 is the catalog number, which is different from the date stamp, which is also the reason why the two codes are different; your bag is not a fake. further, if you have purchased anything from an official louis vuitton boutique, i don't think you should worry about counterfeits. hope that helped.
