Fuck man, My 1st post, a long one too and it got lost. Yo Abel, how did you find yours? I'm trying to get up on the conversation here.

In the NEWYORKERS ONLY!!!! AKA STATE OF THE ART thread....

My lengthy rant was recovered, and I think I have yet to contribute anything quite as good as that first shining post.

Also one of the earlier documented appearances of my alter-ego "onemancult"..

i'm so ashamed, mine was about how to buy Bape stuff...

if you want shoes, http://www.vintagekicks.com/ does have quite a lot. the problem with bape stuff online is that people put ridiculous markup on the stuff they're selling. bapesta now sell for about 125$ in Tokyo, i don't see any reason why you should pay 300. if ever someones interrested, i could pick up a pair for you. as for clothes, http://www.notone.com// carry some but again, it way too expensive in my opinion. another problem about bape is that it's much more expensive in the US or in the UK than in Japan so it's really easy to make a quick buck for peoples living in Japan by reselling the products....

Capri'ish shorts are in now .. Have them hemmed by a competent tailor and leave them as summer wear . For $20 USD and the thrill of having blue line cuffs on a pair of shorts - I would be happy ..

"Here's a question I didn't see posed: I procured a pair of 27 New Cures yesterday and they are a tight fit, but I expect them to stretch a bit more. I'm worried about the backs of the knees, though, which bunch and tighten when I bend my knees. My question is: is there any way to work on stretching the backs of the knees, or will that come with the general stretching of the denim?"

I love my New Cures.

yeah, what about burlingame?

it's mostly yuppies eating their scones and wearing their ralph lauren jeans.

Two years has gone by and i still don't like RL Jeans.

Guest youngteam

i put up my first post over a year after i signed up to this hell hole, largely because i forgot i ever created a membership. i think the inadvertent yearlong waiting period before i started to post was invaluable because i got to know how everything works before i joined the ongoing discourse on culture and style.

just kidding.
