that is so untrue. Reasonable Doubt is the definitive Jay Z album. One of the few albums in Hip Hop where the whole album is greater than the sum of its parts.

for me there are a hand full of songs off of the blueprint that are almost 'unlistenable.' while reasonable doubt is almost a complete listen. i love the friend or foes one where he is basically talking over a drunken horn beat, so fuckin colorful. back to the original topic, yeah its a good song.

but in comparison blueprint is trash to reasonable doubt

i would say the blueprint was probably his last 'good' album as the black album ( with the exception of 99 problems ) is trash in comparison to the blueprint

Calling it trash is absurd hyperbole. The Blueprint is his best album next to Reasonable Doubt. Not one upping yourself with each concurrent relase does not make the album trash.
