I think the condition of my sneakers is brought up every time I post. "Icarus, those chucks look ratty." "Icarus, if I walked by you on the street and saw those kicks I'd throw you a dollar." I think that when someone explicitly references my beat-to-hell sneakers and specifically their beat-to-hell state, that I wear sneakers, frequently!

This was in no way to bash at SuFu. It was just as simply question that warranted a simple answer. I infact admire the way most of you guys and girls dress. People have different styles and preferences which makes us unique. Noone is more superior than the other. I just simply asked this question just because from the months I've spents browsing on here, most of you guys wear either the chucks or vans or designer shoes. Which there is nothing wrong with that? Just curious as to see if anyone appreciates some of the athletic shoes out there. That was it.

i think that geopraphically, wearing the athletic sneakers you refer too has all kinds of connotations.

in some places good, in other bad, etc etc.

i don't know what you are talking about, because if you've been looking here for months you'd know that more then a few people persist in wearing what you hold sacred. so there. i hope this gives you alittle joy.

If you're talking about a shoe that is comparable to cardboard then sure I'll give it to you. They are.

Hooray for utility and the subcultural semiotics of clothing... and flat feet!

besides converse, vans, designer footwear, and other shit you probably aren't up on:

i still own some nike, and wear them once in a while. jordan 1, jordan3, blazers, vandals. no dunks, although i do admit that some of them (highs only) can work with a nonhypebeast wardrobe.

i still wear my keds.

i still wear the "glide" shoe from pf flyer

i still own some new balance 576 /577, pre made in china.

Are those the shoes from Sandlot?

I own pair of sbs, airstab, new balance, vans, j's and bape.

^You're stupid. Gain some knowledge to actually look apart you incoherent retard.

It's funny that you called me incoherent when quite frankly this statement of yours didn't make any sense.

In regards to your idea that all styles should be considered equally I offer you the following quote:

"A point that should be made to every schoolchild:

'All cultures should be treated equally?'

'Yes.'

'Then it is a good thing to be able to put forward the idea that they should be treated equally?'

'Obviously.'

'Then a culture which allows this, is at least to that degree, superior to one that doesn't?'

'I see what you mean...'" - Robert Conquest

Replace the word culture(s) with style(s) and hopefully you'll be able to understand what I am getting at.
