Should I soak my APC's?

I just bought a pair of new cures and was reading through the denim encyclopedia until i became a bit overwhelmed by the options of how to begin wearing them. What are the advantages of soaking vs. letting them stay starchy and stiff. Also how many sizes can i expect them to stretch? 1? 2?

i just bought a pair of new cures too, sized down one... they fit perfectly right now (waist is a bit tight, but the fit everywhere else is perfect) are they gonna stretch crazy? whats the advantage of soaking them? any tips to keep them nice and get nice fades eventually? thanks!

They'll stretch about 3 sizes in polaces of high intensity wear. Wear them long and hard to get good fades. Do not baby them. A soak will get rid of the 'raw sheen' and a bit of starch, but I enjoy the starchy feel at the beginning.

Keep them 'nice' and getting good fades is a bit of a contradiction with raw denim, at least in my opinion.

by nice i was talking about the fit, im really worried about stretching, because i really like how it fits now, dont want it to balloon... guess ill just have to enjoy it while i can lol
