Best Way to shrik denim w/o losing the finish?

I have some alife 501xx's i need to shirk, but i dont want to lose the shinney finish, or at least as little as possible. What is the best way to do this?

soak them really hot without much irritation i suppose but I would just bite the bullet and throw them in a washing machine and dryer (inside out) cause the finish is not gonna be there for ever anyway

Is it just me or is 'finish' a strange word for sheen? Just like fishnets vor honeycombs, I guess...

There's no way to completely maintain the brand-new sheen, but if you soak them inside out, that will help. Of course, as soon as you start wearing them it will go away anyway, so really you're wasting your time worrying about it.
