solution to the dreaded "knee bulge"

only solution is to wear them tighter/ soak regularly

Wearing you jeans tighter will, if you'd thought about it for 10 seconds, give a more appreciable knee bulge. If your jeans are loose you won't form knee bulging, because there's room for your knees to flex. Tradeoff is on the other side you get very widely spaced honeycombs. Tight jeans, on the other hand result in super-dense honeycombs, but on the front where those creases wrap around you'll end up with huge knee bagging.

Like everyone above has said, you can't fully get rid of it. What I have found helpful is spraying them with a little bit of water and drying them. See, my dryer has a removable shelf that allows you to place something on it and just dry it with a warmer temperature while the barrel spins around it. My girl also uses this on her Nudie Dry Tight Katy's. Whenever they stretch out a little too much for her, she spritzes them with water and puts them on the shelf. It shrinks the fabric back to size without beating them up in the tumble. Of course this only lasts a few days and cannot be considered a permanent fix.

I actually kind of like the bulges in jeans, as the knee stetches and the waist stretches and sits lower the jeans look pretty dirty and used ( a great look sometimes! ) but give em a hot soak or a wash and the knee bulge decreases ( hehe ) and the waist tightens so the jeans are worn higher and as the slight bulge sits slightly higher on the knee it creates a flattering drape.

Ah, every aspect of denim is wondeful!

yes, ddml, first developed as an attempt at automated felatio, the Super-Suck 5000 had an interesting and unexpected side-effect: extremely pronounced knee-buldge. it actually produced knee-buldge better than it sucked dick, as frequent malfunctions either amputated the unsuspecting member or electrocuted it with severe wattage.

needless to say, the Super-Suck 5000 was taken off the market, however, it found a new home in denim wash houses.

i have quite noticeable knee bulges that seem larger than mos; quite unnatural and unusual.

when sitting they are of course perfect. but when standing straight upwards, the thigh area of my jeans lead down to about over my knees in a straight and very well fitting fashion, but then have an appearance of collapsing directly inwards where lower legs start below my knees. i find it quite unsightly.

No solutions beyond common soaks and application of water to the area for this?

not really, no. it's an unavoidable part of wearing your jeans.
