What happened to Trovata?

One thing i have noticed though, it seems i see the aussie members of this board wearing/selling in supermarket Trovata more than others... was/is trovata rather popular/hyped in Australia?

It isn't really hyped that I have noticed. It's only stocked in one store in Sydney - two at the most. Maybe it's just coincidental that most of the Aussie's on here seem to wear it a bit.

Trovata has been going down hill since the past few seasons. I think the investors came in and tried to make the big dollars and ripped the soul out of the brand.

They also started doing womens a few seasons ago which took the focus on their strength... the mens range.

Two guys left about a year ago, and Jeff Halmos and Sam Shippley left about 6 months ago. Shippley and Halmos is a kick arse range you all have to check out. They're doing plainer apparel, focusing on the simple things like fit, detail and quality.

I still wear my trovata tees (when nobody is watching). So comfortable. t.

yea, i must admit some of the t-shirts have shitty logos/saying,....i have about two or three that i wear out, and love..the other couple i just where them to work.
