Need your opinions on a pair of Diesel jeans (yes, Diesel)

I've been on this board long enough to know what everyone thinks about Diesel. But alas, I've found a pair that I am in love with.

I was doing some window shopping last week a pair of Diesel's from their Spring collection. They are called the Safado. Here's the specs according to Urban Outfitters Dot Com:

5-pocket regular fit jeans, cut straight through the leg with a medium rise, in dark black denim finished with subtle abrasions at the hem and dark blue seam stitching. Button fly. Imported. Machine wash.

For the longest time, I've wanted a pair of black, 'slim' jeans (I use the term 'slim' very loosely because, even though I'm 5'11, 170, I have a somewhat bigger frame, so Cheap Monday's and Slim Jims look like ass on me. For some strange reason, the Safado's look right at home on my body. Now under normal circumstances, I would buy the jeans, but they retail at $250 CDN + tax so I'm sitting here scratching my head. At that price point, I should be able to get a pair of jeans that are much higher in quality. Only problem is I have no idea what sort of brands and cuts to be looking at. Suggestions?

Those are only $188 plus tax in the US. I'm sure you could find someone willing to have it shipped to them and then send to you in canada. I do that all the time for honestforum people.

Maybe you could try the blue/black nudie even stevens? They have blue stitching and are a very dark color, but they do fade towards blue.

check out the Skulls thread, the measurement are very similar and they cost about the same. also, there might be a Diesel outlet near you so you might want to check it out cause jeans are like half priced there
