I know there are more starving models and Paris Hiltons in the District than actual meatpacking, but I still like the place.

Of all the clothing stores opening there, what do you people suggest?

I've been to Auto [Washington St] and Jeffrey [we 14th], but I'm not quite sure where else to spend my money. Someone please help before I actually start to save it!

Destination is a decent boutique on w little 12th around the corner from pastise, but

it's mostly womens stuff though at one point they had Cloak and Mastermind.

Jean Shop is on 14th Street and to the right of Jeffrey. The have some decent denim there and they will customize to your liking. Unwashed raw selvedge starts around $265 and customizing ranges from +$50-$600 (for hand distressing and patching). Kinda nuts, if you ask me. Drop in a say hi to Chris...nice guy...

Thom Browne is also around there. 12th Street, I think. Nice shirts.
